In early 2022, I joined Red Hat because quite frankly – I was so excited that they thought I could do the job! It felt like the perfect culmination of all the systems, responsibilities, and teams I was working with across past roles – all into one. I primarily act as a product owner & project manager for our brand team, constantly assessing & planning upcoming needs across their tool suite.
In 2024, I launched Brand Portal (an Adobe product), an internal library that any Red Hat associate or agency partner could log into to view & download our brand-approved logos, icons, illustrations, and photos. But we’re not done! Now, we’re currently building out metadata schemas to account for new asset types. Additionally, we’re using Workfront Fusion to give our agency partners automatic access after completing their Red Hat brand training courses in Seertech.
In 2025, I’ll lead the adoption of Adobe Express to enable non-creatives to make new assets that adhere to our brand guidelines.
My other responsibilities include managing our intranet & internal badge program. I have already begun automating the end to end workflow of intake to badge creation, but there’s still more to be done – I’ll post the solution when it’s complete!
